Stinky Hearts, Grouchy People, and Table-Saws

*Today is day one of the one28 World’s for Sale where we sell “treasures” donated by our church body in order to raise money for short-term mission projects and other student ministries needs. The Intern has done an absolutely terrific job as head of this beast with most of the students (and many staff) collecting, organizing, pricing, and selling like every item is a gold bar.

Of course, the process is sometimes hard to enjoy, and Eucatastrophe wrote a great post about the ethics of stinky hearts, grouchy people, and table-saws. It is worth reading whether you need joy at the WFS or whatever your work is.

UPDATE [1:57PM July 13]: Bonus points if you can find the Intern’s parka in the clothing department at WFS!

Hmmm. I really wanted those bonus points. But I never saw that parka in the clothing department. And I have it on really good authority that it was never there. :)

    Hope you’re enjoying the post-WFS, pre-Ichthus process!

And I must say.. The first thought that comes into my head when I see that picture of Micah is, “It was a scratch! Don’t you think I know the difference between a pick and a scratch?”

    that’s all.
