As for Calvin, he obviously wasn't scarred emotionally since the next time he saw you he was begging for another ride. Besides, it's good for him to be toughened up and like you said, it's a perfect intro to &lt;em&gt;your&lt;/em&gt; son's story.&lt;/p&gt;

I am sad for you today and can feel your pain of missing him. I am thankful for a Heavenly Father who still wraps his loving arms around me and comforts me.
So sorry that I am the one that scared your son, it just made me sick. I was trying to look for something good to come out of it and the thing I came up with is that Calvin has a good&#34; intro&#34; into Grant's miracle story when someone ask him how he got the scar. Love you guys!
