If you’re undecided about how to read the Bible this year take a look at these eight Bible reading plans for the ESV. Each plan can be read on the web, received through RSS or email, or printed out for to carry in your own copy of God’s Word.

welcome to tohu va bohu
tohuvabohu.org is a weblog written by Sean Higgins more or less since April 2004. The name "tohu va bohu" is a Hebrew phrase meaning "without form and void" found in Genesis 1:2 and works well to describe the condition of my content. You can read more about the site here.
I'm happy to offer full and free subscriptions to tohuvabohu.org via RSS
. For those who don't like long reading assignments, you might prefer following me on Twitter, viewing my Flickr gallery, or reading from some other blogs I like. -

Aha! Thank you, this had exactly what I was looking for. I was trying to come up with a daily family reading plan that combined 1/2 reading through Systematic Theology with 1/2 reading through the New Testament in a less compressed manner (allowing for more detailed discussion) than GBC’s format. The 6-month NT plan looks like it will work perfectly for that! Thank you!
You know, Trinian, we at the Void always aim to please. Hope you and your growing family have a Happy New Year!
I’ve had an excellent new year, thank you!
I may have to edit that comment above, though. I was going to go through Grudem’s Systematic Theology as noted above. Unfortunately, I’m currently reading through chapter 53, ‘Gifts of the Holy Spirit’ for Joint Heirs this week, and it is swiftly changing my mind.
Well… at least it’s well thought-out and well written extremely poor exegesis and discounting of textual context…
Heheh, I just had a great image in my mind of a “Discount Textual Context Warehouse”.
