The Intern is back at school now, but he edified us with another eternally significant summer of ministry.
One of his personal summer reading projects was The Reformed Pastor, an excellent charge to shepherds from Richard Baxter and a book that I believe deserves an annual read for sake of recharging one’s pastoral batteries. It was the Intern’s first time through and he mentioned to me multiple times how much he enjoyed it.
However, included in the most recent batch of Ichthus 2007 photos is the following image of the Intern recharging his batteries in an altogether different manner. I guess sometimes even shepherds need a nap on a picnic bench.
