I love the precise manner in which Dr. MacArthur teaches, even when taken out of context.
God would be just in any calamity that he brought on us
He doesn’t go the way most quotes from religious personalities have gone. He doesn’t say, “X calamity was God’s judgment on our sin Y” (Luke 13:1-9). He doesn’t say “God will bring calamity X to justly judge sin Y” (Deut 18:19-22). He just says the plain truth - that God will do as He wills, but if His will was to destroy this country utterly, He would be fully justified in doing so.
But, apparently I should be letting God “speak for Himself”… so: Romans 1:18-2:16
