Sometimes consumers are stupid. Here is a Consumer Report to prove it.

welcome to tohu va bohu
tohuvabohu.org is a weblog written by Sean Higgins since April 2004. The phrase "tohu va bohu" is Hebrew for "without form and void" in Genesis 1:2 and works well as a motto for the content found on this site. You can read more about the site here.

Now, now, arn’t you biased on this one? When was the last time you went and tasted black, no cream or sugar in your Starbucks coffee? Starbucks is famous for all the sugar and flavoing they add.
Oh, there is no doubt that I’m biased, it just so happens that my bias is right. :-) In fact, I’ve been doing Americanos at the ‘bucks recently sans sugar and flavoring to my great satisfaction.
Java from the Golden Arches, on the other hand, needs more Egg McMuffins than one person with fundoplication can consume in order to make it palatable.
Though I have little interest in Starbucks beyond Strawberries and Cream, I have to agree. By definition, a Consumer Report like this is really entirely about bias. SKH isn’t saying that he’s unbiased in this, he’s just saying that his bias isn’t stupid. Also, I’m forced to agree with his bias if for the only reason that it’s presuppositionally impossible for me to place McDonalds above any other restaurant in any category of taste.
