Kids and Calvinism

Alex Chediak points out that when young people begin to realize that it’s about God’s glory, not theirs, they often go all Calvinist and stuff. And is that really a “Jonathan Edwards is my homeboy” shirt?

    They really just… don’t get it do they? I mean really, how many times do we have to say something - yet it’s always the same focus. From a leadership perspective, does it ever just get really tiresome hearing the same unsound arguments over and over again?

    I guess that begins to eliminate the popular term “Sub-cultural Christianity”, now doesn’t it? I love that he mentioned this quote. Too often do I see or hear people calling us American Christians “American Sub-culture Christians” we aren’t to be in this world (sub) and not of it. we are to be counter. other. I love that he mentioned that.
