We’ll Be Here All Week

*Greetings from sunny, southern California!

Kenny Palmer, Curtis Wentling and I have arrived safely to L.A. and are checked into our hotel room. We left Marysville last night around 7:30PM, and after the rain stopped at 3AM or so it was a very pleasant drive. We drank lots of coffee, listened to a few sermons from the iPod, and had a lot of fellowship even if we didn’t get a lot of sleep.

Jonathan Sarr will be joining us in a couple hours as he is flying in to the Burbank Airport across the street around 5:30PM. We’ll do something for dinner, mabye In-N-Out or some other Californian staple, and then try to get a good night’s rest for the start of the Shepherds’ Conference tomorrow.

I know that Tim Challies, the boys from Fide-O, and the Paleoevangelical, will be here, and I hope to meet some if not all of them.

I already miss the wife and kids. If you’re back home, make sure to hug them for me when you see them. And finally, the most dissapointing thing about our hotel room is that the internet access is not complimentary. I went ahead and got it for a day so that I could check in and so that Curtis could do some schoolwork, but you may not see any more posts until next week.

You can also check out the new one28 Prayer Request Blog where I posted a request for this week.
