Some of the links here are oldies but goodies while others are as recent today, but all of them mention or link to the skh weblog. You’ll see.
The Wayfarer reminds us never to assume God. I miss him and still pray for him.
Celestialshine proclaims that she is so cool. I agree, though I’m not exactly sure how this qualifies.
The Gracegirl talks about perspective and priorities. I hope she didn’t hurt her head too much.
Another Drummer misses us peeps in Washington. I’m going to hold him accountable to never take us for “granite” again.
The Lonely Old Man pines for better comment days. If my comments keep you from moving to Duluth — I promise to get to work.
The Discerner talks about my running for four hours on a treadmill. I haven’t done that in a while, though I am back to forty-four minutes at a time, five times a week. Now if I can just get him to discern the proper spelling of my last name in his blogroll….
Clyde Silla calls me an influential man. He also remembers my ‘91 Ford Probe and The Five Points of Calvinism. God was certainly sovereign and plentifully gracious to allow us to be friends.
Dave Cleland confesses that he still hasn’t finished reading his Piper book. This is apparent from the fact that he actually wrote the title from a Jerry Bridges book instead of When I Don’t Desire God. He did have it right back in June.
What the Thunder Said (I don’t know this Minneapolisian) joins the PyroManiac bandwagon in bashing the Mac.
I’m now a contributor on the TMS Alumni Blog. I’m barely posting on this blog recently, so I don’t know how much I’ll have to post there. But the qualification for contributors is graduation — not posting. Hey, I’ve already done that.
And finally, Christian Survey kind of makes it seem like I’m in his belly button. That is a weird idea. It is a weird idea on many different levels. Seriously, that is weird. Yet I think his post was actually a compliment, but I’m not sure. I guess we’ll never know for sure since he’s quit blogging.

You took the metaphore to the unintended next level. That would be wierd…It was a compliment. My point was that all my blog favorites are similar in worldview to my own world view. I didnt intend to say that the links were part of, or inside of, my belly button.
Now I am going to go back and re-read the post and see if your reading is reasonable. It may be that I have inadvertently wierded out the authors of all my favorite blogs…
Well, as one of those “sarcastic, astute” Reformed blogger types, I didn’t really think that you meant your blog bookmarks were located in your navel. In fact, I would even agree it was kind of a catchy way to make your intended point.
It caught my attention so much that I’ve considered writing an entire post to discuss why I’m not blogging for unbelievers per se, but that my intended audience are believers — and primarily those that are in my ministry circle whose communication from me is not limited to my blog.
On a personal note, my wife is extremely dissapointed that you’ve quit blogging yourself. We both look forward to your eventual return.
And finally, I can now see my bellybutton after some recent weight loss, and I like what I see.
Dude, are you forgetting someone????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
I know it was you, (insert smooch) you broke my heart.
Thanks alot Fredo ;)
Ok, it didn’t show up for whatever reason but I had like a million question marks in there.
Now Mr. Prank-Playing Pecadillo, there was no intentional snub of your excellent blog. But please note that all of the blogs I was “looking for” were those that linked to me or mentioned me. The comment section of your blog does not count, not to mention the fact that I must go to the Gracegirl in private before bringing her faux pas to the public’s attention.
Please Note: tk has promised to try and mention his shep in his next post.
TK, there is nothing inherently wrong about not mentioning or linking to the skh weblog, nor am I offended, irritated or dissapointed by The Webb Log. In fact, I’m kind of impressed by your prolificity at 5AM. But in the meantime I guess you’ll have to wait for the next round up - and who knows how long that might be.
Nevermind Pec, he may pull a very ill-advised prank on you and then write about it…
Is it right to say that the 91 Probe has gone home to be with the Lord? If so, before it did, did you ever fix your mirror?
How is the Master’s Landscaping Service going?
I have once again prompted you for the same thing twice. Forgive me. I read that the Probe has gone home. I am sorry to hear it, it was a wonderful car for such a long time.
clyde - i just have to say that i think you have a highly romanticized view of the 91 probe. i’m almost positive that car had it’s very own demon residing in it. and while it did go home to be with someone (probably someone with horns), we sold it’s carcass to master’s automotive and i think they rebuilt it and sold it. maybe you could track it down, buy it and live happily ever after.
Bean:
I do not have a romanticized view of that automotive vehicle. I cannot even begin to state how disappointing it is for you to infer that the Henry Ford Company’s 1991 Probe model Horseless Carriage would be in the presence of the “one with horns” is preposterous!
I will say, while I disagree highly with your views, I still miss you all!
Um dude, I’m totally linked to you. Under “blogs I dig”.
At least, I was linked to you…
Pecadillo, you should be careful, because you’re starting to sound like a fancy-boy with all of that whining. Let me state for the record, that I love your blog and it will continue to be one of my blogroll staples. Let me also express my public — and humble — appreciation for my inclusion in your blogroll. However, even in my earlier comment I mentioned that “note that all of the blogs I was ‘looking for’ were those that linked to me or mentioned me,” and therefore I was not looking for blogs that had me in their blogroll. I believe your father gave a similar explanation in his post from earlier today. I will try to emphasize the Pecadillo’s blog soon.
You’re dead to me. ;)
I may be dead, but at least my hair still looks good.
