There are a few things that I need to weigh in on:
- I am pleased to announce that there is yet another new ninja warrior in the Mac family as David Zimmer is now the proud owner of a 15” PowerBook. I was able to get my hands on it this afternoon for a while and help in the initial set up of the machine. I was honored.
- I am getting cheated on blogspots. Normally when another blogger mentions you in his/her blog they insert a hyperlink to your blog. This goes into the Technorati and TTLB statistics, not to mention typically increasing the number of overall hits to your site as readers are directed to view it. However, in the last week I have been referenced by a number of bloggers out there who have used my name but not my link. For example, this Webb blogger refers to my comments from here or maybe here or even this post, but how would you know that? There is no link! And then another drummer actually gave me a significant shout out (thanks for thanks DZ!), but still, no link. My only consolation is that Cleland hasn’t posted a new entry in almost a month so his link to me has remained on top at his blog.
- The PyroManiac included me in his triumphant return to blogspotting. Though he compares my new Apple to his GameBoy, the comment thread reveals that there is a faithful remnant among his readers. (Really, the debate runs deep.)
- Our one28 staff retreat is this weekend. I love the these people and can’t wait to fellowship with them.
- Pictures from Ichthus are now online. Some of them are pretty good. For all of you who didn’t go…poo poo.
- It is Wednesday, so it is time for the real weigh-in: 214. I know I announced that I was down to 213 on Sunday, but Mo, the Intern and I went to Daniel’s Broiler on Monday night. Even though I only at half of my filet mignon it was still more than I’ve had at one sitting in five weeks. Thanks to MJL for his great work this summer and thanks to MRH for being an excellent wife.

I’ll start putting links on your name whenever I mention you, if that’s what you want… I will. I promise. Anywho, a one pound addition isn’t a bad thing, especially when it came from Daniel’s food. Oooh. That sounds good.
Meat…so tender…so juicy…it can only be Daniel’s. Beef. It’s what’s for dinner.
