A Call to Christian Bloggers

If you have a blog, and if no one else can help, maybe you can call: The A-Team.

Okay, unless you’re at least in your late twenties you probably didn’t watch The A-Team. First, that’s a shame, and second, my opening line is all but wasted on you. But that doesn’t stop me from linking to Adrian Warnock’s call to all Christian bloggers anyway. You’ll have to read what it’s all about there — though I can already tell you it has nothing to do with The A-Team.

That’s it for me for a while. Mo and Maggie and I leave for Ohio at 4AM tomorrow morning. I’m not sure what the internet access is going to be like — shoot, I’m not even sure they have the internet in Ohio at all. Then we’re spending a week in West Virginai where I’m re-preaching the Reformation messages for the JH/HS summer camp (we’re in the picture) of Faith Bible Church. All of that to say — I know that they don’t have the information superhighway running through Vernville, USA.

In the meantime, you can read my intern’s blog. He’s alright.

Sean! Sean Higgins! THE Sean Higgins? The one who bought my little Honda Elite my last year in seminary? Dude, where’s my Honda!? Good to see you on the blogosphere, bro. Missed the fellowship I had with you and your wife at Grace Church. Trust things are going well with ministry.

Rob, thanks for the comment. It is a relatively lonely comment life here on the skh weblog. I visit and read your blog on a regular basis as well, though I guess I have no excuse for my silence.

So yes, this is indeed the “elite” Sean Higgins, who scooted out from GCC to Grace Bible Church in Marysville, WA with John Zimmer and company. Ministry is more than well, Mo is even better, and our three year old daughter Maggie adds something sweet everywhere she goes.

Even though the blogosphere isn’t the same as GCC, maybe it will provide a little of that fellowship.
